Product details
The FlexiCombi MagicPilot combi steamer features a robust, tablet-style touch and slide operating concept, allowing programmes to be set with a touch of the screen – beneficial for untrained chefs under pressure to deliver.
With six cooking modes – SoftSteaming, Steaming, ExpressSteaming, Convection, CombiSteaming and Perfection (Regeneration) – the FlexiCombi also features the MKN ‘StepMatic’ function, for combining basic cooking methods individually.
It also incorporates MKN’s ‘WaveClean’ system - a safe-to-handle, two-in-one cleaning cartridge. Using 36 per cent less water than previous versions, chefs can set it to run at convenient, cost-effective times and do not have to get their hands dirty or handle caustic chemicals.
The FlexiCombi MagicPilot is also equipped with a durable 316 S11 cooking chamber as standard, a triple-glazed cooking chamber door and heat exchanger.
USP:
Enabling chefs to lift trays and GN containers easily and safely without having to change the position of their hands, the new MKN FlexiCombi MagicPilot also includes the ‘EasyLoad’ crosswise insertion, while ‘FlexiRack’ allows chefs to benefit from 50 per cent more shelf capacity whilst loading horizontally, when compared to the 1/1 GN, making it the most ergonomic way to carry any item.
To find out how much energy and water has been used during each cooking process, chefs simply need to tap into ‘GreenInside’, which displays consumption with just one touch.

Why you should buy it:
Stuart Long, UK sales and marketing director for MKN, says the pioneering and compact new oven not only produced first class meals, but was incredibly easy to operate.
“Today, people use their smartphones and tablet computers naturally and intuitively, and the simple-to-use FlexiCombi’s MagicPilot control system mirrors this social behaviour,” he said.
“With only a few touches, chefs can bring up integrated information and recipe steps, a Favourites only menu on the start display for consistency, and VideoAssist, a virtual chef that gives instructions that the combi itself demonstrates as chefs go along. It also has brilliant image representation and 360° viewing from all sides. Cooking couldn’t be easier."
