Product details:
Route 1 Session IPA is a 4.5% abv American IPA that is brewed with Bravo, Cascade, Chinook and Crystal hops and features grapefruit and pine aromas. It has been designed for craft beer drinkers looking for a lower abv IPA and is suggested as an ideal match to curries and other spicy dishes. The beer forms part of a four-strong permanent range from US brewer Fordham, which includes Gypsy Lager, Ram's Head IPA and Copperhead Ale and which have recently been given a new streamlined look. They are on sale in the UK alongside seasonal and one-off beers.
USP:
The new IPA is designed to provide an alternative to the stronger Ram's Head currently available and broadens the range for fans of Fordham, says Heathwick general manager Graham Richardson: "With Route 1 alongside Ram's Head at 7.5 per cent, we can now offer two great IPAs, differentiated by ABV in one of the most popular craft beer styles."

Why you should buy it:
“Fordham’s brews have built up a loyal following since we first launched them in the UK two years ago," said Richardson. "The craft beer market is getting more competitive all the time, and brands need to be instantly recognisable from the label or tap handle. With four permanent beers now in the range, the more consistent, distinctive Fordham branding will have more immediate appeal to consumers as well as delivering high sales for operators.”
