Located on the popular top floor of the store, the modern British restaurant opened late last month, serving a family-friendly menu of homemade dishes utilising locally sourced produce. Outdoor seating is available on a newly created terrace.
Absolute Taste’s founder Lyndy Redding said: “I am very excited to be opening The Terrace by Absolute Taste in Royal Tunbridge Wells, especially with such a renowned and respected brand as Fenwick.
“We are dedicated to serving the most delicious food available, and this is what we intend to do here. I am extremely proud of the ethos of Absolute Taste, and the team have worked incredibly hard to make this happen.”
Olympics caterers
The catering company is behind some of the most high-profile parties across the world. Most notably, Absolute Taste catered for the 2012 London Games and The Winter Whites Gala 2013 for Centrepoint hosted by HRH Duke of Cambridge.
In Royal Tunbridge wells, food will be available for breakfast, lunch and dinner with guests able to enjoy main courses such as the signature Fenwick burger, served with Kent cheddar, smoked bacon, portabella mushroom, tomato chutney and hand cut chips; and locally caught fish and hand cut chips with homemade mushy peas. A range of salads are also available such as endive, bluebell cheese and Kent apple salad served with caramelised pecan nuts and French dressing.
To attract the family market, The Terrace offers a ‘Little People’s Menu’ with a selection of small versions of classic British favourites such as miniature pork sausages and mash; and grilled chicken with new potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
The Terrace by Absolute Taste is now open on the top floor of Fenwick Tunbridge Wells in Kent.
