Mason House nightclub set to open in the West End
Marc Merran, Eamonn Mulholland and Jean Philippe Kley, who have together notched up experience at the likes of Chinawhite, Aura and Movida, will open the 415-capacity venue on Argyll Street in November. The trio want to create a space that resembles a ‘masonic temple’.
Guests will enter Mason House through a crypt and can choose to spend their time in either the Main Club Room or the exclusive Room, 33.
Set out across multi-raised levels, the Main Club Room will have a black and white chequered dance floor complete with 30 tables offering bottle and waitress service. Room 33 is the alternative music room, with a ‘secret door’ operating on an invitation-only basis.
Mason House is designed to create a ‘totally unique’ destination. The vaults have been restored to their former glory, mixed with a contemporary feel of leather banquet seating and Victorian-style oak wood bars.
In keeping with the premium design of the venue, Mason House will feature a centrally located DJ booth which will host regular live performances. The venue will also showcase art from young and up-and-coming artists. Designer-dressed hosts complete the unique and stylish setting, fuelling what the trio call ‘the dawn of a new nightlife experience’.
