Entrepreneur creates Glass-Safe tray for busy pubs, bars and restaurants
Product details:
Entrepreneur Chris Holloway, creator of the CardSafe concept, has launched a new style tray which enables bar and restaurant staff to collect glasses safely and minimise any risk of dropping them. Made from canvas and strengthened with tough polystyrene, the Glass-Safe tray has a strap that fits over the head and is moulded to fit the body. It also comes with an adjustable waist belt to free up hands. The tray itself has expandable inserts allowing it to hold glasses and bottles of different sizes. Work is currently underway too to enhance the trays by allowing them to be branded or feature corporate sponsorship via a clear plastic sleeve on the front of the unit.
USP:
Holloway believes he has created a unique solution to carrying a number of glasses and bottles safely within a busy environment.
“I have spent a lot of time observing the precarious manner in which glasses and bottles are transported on trays and other crude forms, from place to place, often in very crowded bars, and felt that there must be a better way of doing it,” said Chris Holloway.
Price:
An introductory price of £69.95 is currently available.

Why you should buy it:
“I believe that Glass-Safe will be of great benefit to pubs, bars, restaurants and hotels, and also special events, in providing a much more professional and safer approach to an area previously un-addressed,” said Holloway. “It ticks all the boxes from both a health and safety and practical perspective.”
“The response we have had from the trade already has been really good – as soon as people see it, they ‘get it’ and recognise the benefits.
