Market research firm BDRC Continental, a leading provider of hospitality intelligence, has combined its three main customer experience programmes for hotels and meeting venues under one brand - VenueVerdict.

Product details:

BDRC Continental has taken the decision to consolidate its services in order to allow businesses to more accurately understand how well their venues are operating without measuring individual parts of the operation in isolation.

The move allows BDRC Continental to show people the full range of services that the company offers - not just its popular and famous mystery enquiry programme.

The three services now under the VenueVerdict brand are:

  • Meeting Benchmark Tracker - a test of meetings enquiries. Launched in the late nineties, this service has measured nearly 1,200 hotels and meeting venues by assessing bedroom bookings, social events, group reservations, extended stay trips and conference booking agencies.
  • GuestRate - an individual guest feedback programme.
  • VenueVerdict - event planner feedback.

The new VenueVerdict programme can be used by businesses either as a complete set or venues can still select individual elements.

USP:

Established in 1991, BDRC Continental has over two decades experience working with leading service sector brands as a research consultancy firm.

Why should you buy it?

James Bland, client services director within the Hotels and Hospitality division of BDRC Continental, said:

"By bringing all of our programmes under the ‘VenueVerdict’ name we are not only making the title more relevant to what the modules do – we don’t just measure meetings, after all – but we are also reinforcing the fact that this is just a part of what the BDRC Group does.

"The VenueVerdict name is, of course, still connected to BDRC Group, but allows us to promote these services in a more accurate context, and gives us a chance to make people aware that, beyond these measurements, whatever research question they need answering is something we will be able to help with," he added.
