Why should you buy it?
Sepideh Shahlazadeh, owner of Zafran Food Company, said: "My aim is to launch a range of authentic Persian foods into the UK foodservice sector to fill a clear gap in the market following a growing demand for this food type.
"Our Rosewater ice cream is created from a traditional Persian ice cream recipe and is manufactured right here in the UK by a leading ice cream manufacturer.
The challenge for me was to be able to use such a powerful ingredient to produce an ice cream which such a delicate flavour – it’s a true palette cleanser. I have spent a considerable amount of time ensuring that the flavour and the texture are right and have conducted research to get some genuinely objective feedback from the market place."
