Hotel consultancy practice TRI Hospitality Consulting has joined CBRE Hotels EMEA, a move designed to 'significantly extend' both companies' capabilities in professional services, investment advisory, feasibility studies and operational asset management.

The merger will see Jonathan Langston and David Bailey of TRI Hospitality Consulting work alongside Graham Windle and the existing consultancy practice at CBRE.

Derek Gammage, managing director, CBRE Hotels EMEA said: “Having enjoyed a close working relationship with TRI for a number of years, this move to acquire the knowledge and expertise of the group is a key step towards offering an improved service to new and existing clients."

Langston said the TRI team was 'delighted' to be joining CBRE.

"Both firms have similar cultural values that emphasize exceptional client care," he said. "Together, we have a clear ambition for further growth and are well positioned to respond to the dynamics of this fast-moving market. We all look forward to playing a key role in the future success of CBRE Hotels.”

The expansion of CBRE's consultancy practice follows the appointments of Dominic Murray as senior director and Paul Collins as head of brokerage UK & Ireland.
