Brockmans 'super-premium' gin launched

Brockmans, a new 'super-premium' gin featuring an unusual mix of botanicals and berries, has been launched to on-trade buyers.

Product details:

Brockmans was developed by a group of four people with a self-professed 'passion for gin and a vision for something truly different'.

The 40% ABV gin is made in England but is distilled using botanicals from around the world. The drink features a 'rounded yet unusual flavour profile' which the product's developers said appeals to traditional gin drinkers but also offers something rather new for adventurous drinkers.

The top note of Bulgarian coriander has an aromatic, gingery orange flavour, which marries with the softer harmonies of blueberries and blackberries and the middle note created by juniper berries from Tuscany. This combination, together with the dry, bitter sweet peel of Valencian oranges, elongates the deeper tones and serve.

The drink can either be served neat on the rocks, mixed as a Bramble or served as a Martini. As a classic G&T, Brockmans works well with a twist of grapefruit peel and a garnish of fresh blueberries.

USP:

The developers of the Gin have said Brockmans 'brims with botanicals and with berries that make it a very different gin taste experience' due to the bond of flavours sourced from across Europe.

The RRP for retail buyers is £31.99 per bottle - the on-trade price will differ based on the quantity of the order.

Why should you buy it?

Bob Fowkes, a director of Brockmans and one of the founders who developed the gin, said: "New though it is, Brockmans is already been served in some of the UK's best bars, hotels and restaurants.

"Whilst unmistakably a gin, because its flavour profile is so very different from anything else, it has even converted some previously confirmed non-gin imbibers."
