Café Spice Namaste named on Footprint Awards 2013 shortlist
Cyrus Todiwala, who won the organisation's Special Achievement Award in 2011, has seen his flagship restaurant receive a nomination in the Stakeholder Engagement Award category while contract caterer Brakes has been recognised for its sustainable use of natural resources.
Nick Fenwicke-Clennell, Footprint Media Group chief executive, said: “The sheer number and quality of entries demonstrates that the way our industry perceives sustainability has changed enormously in recent years. The very notion of sustainability having once been a ‘buzz word’ has become outdated."
The winners in the eleven award categories listed below will be named on 23 May in a ceremony to be held at RIBA. The winners of the Community Vote and Special Achievement Award will also be revealed on the 23 May.
