D&D London's Duncan Pitfield joins Hakkasan as operations director

Duncan Pitfield, former senior general manager at D&D London has joined Hakkasan as operations director. 

Pitfield replaces Hannah Bass, who left the company at the end of last year to set up a new restaurant, Grill Shack for Richard Caring. 

In his new role Pitfield will be responsible for overseeing all of the company’s six UK restaurants and new launches.

Pitfield started with D&D London as general manager at The Royal Exchange. He went on to open Restaurant Sauterelle and Skylon before becoming senior general manager, which saw him hold responsibility for restaurants including the Blueprint Café, Le Pont de la Tour and the Old Bengal Warehouse.
