Product details:
Like the Pacojet, The Pacojet 2 can transform fresh ingredients into ready-to-serve sorbets and ice creams without having to thaw them first, but has been fitted out with new and improved features designed to make it more efficient. New features include a new Swiss-made 'brushless' motor, designed to make the machine quieter than its predecessor and the ability to detect and prevent the overfilling of beakers. The new machine also has an optional air pressure mode to allow pressure release during the processing cycle, more precise decimal portion control for more expensive ingredients and is equipped with a new colour graphic display with intuitive icons and an automatic cleaning cycle with progress visually monitored on the display panel.
USP:
The Pacojet, which is a feature in many kitchens, has been upgraded with the help of the chefs who use it after its manufacturer decided to integrate features they requested.

Why you should buy it:
Hand & Flowers chef-patron Tom Kerridge, who is Pacojet ambassador in the UK has been trialling the new machine in his kitchen. He said: "We have found the Pacojet 2 to be highly efficient and the manufacturer has clearly taken on board suggestions for improvement. The new engine is more powerful, quicker and quieter. In fact, since we pacotise about 40 times a day, in the kitchen there now pervades an air of calmness and control."
