Marshall & Stewart introduces luxury bed range designed specifically for hotels

Luxury handcrafted bed manufacturer Marshall & Stewart has introduced a range of three beds designed specifically for hotels to fit within hotelier's design budgets.

Product details:

The three new bed models - Hope, Dresden and Nassak - are handmade using an 'innovative design'. The products include a progressive spring system while the base can be upholstered to compliment the bedroom décor.

The Hope offers 'affordable luxury' with an 8-turn progressive spring system layered with pure wool and hand-teased horsehair, blended with Mohair and Cashmere. The Dresden features a 7-turn progressive spring system, while the Nassak features a 6-turn progressive spring system - both feature the same wool, horsehair, Mohair and Cashmere layers.

Following the launch, hoteliers or hotel developers are invited to contract or commission the beds for their properties - something David Carter did for boutique London venue 40 Winks.

Carter said: "I was so excited to discover a British company making some of the finest beds in the world that I was delighted to commission them for 40 Winks. My guests can now enjoy a level of luxury and comfort that is unparalleled."

USP:

The London King's Road-based retailer was founded more than a century ago, remains family-owned and is run by managing director Brent Cooper who has worked in the bed industry for 33 years and personally designs all the beds in its flagship Diamond Collection of six products which was launched in 2011.

Availability:

The three beds, which measure 180 x 200cm, are available directly from Marshall & Stewart - the company is offering hotels a complimentary bed consultation at one of its three bed showrooms where hoteliers can discuss contract options.

Price:

The Nassak bed costs £ 3675.00 plus VAT, the Dresden £ 4325.00 plus VAT and the Hope £ 4765.00 plus VAT.

Why you should buy it:

Brent Cooper, Marshall & Stewart managing director, said: “We are thrilled to be bringing these beds to the market. We realise that our Diamond Collection beds are not within the budget of most hotels, so we have introduced this range of Contract beds which boast exceptional comfort and offer excellent value for hoteliers and developers.

We use natural upholstery fillings to ensure that the mattresses ventilate properly, but the core of the mattress is a versatile, progressive or soft start spring system. This copes incredibly well with guests of varying weights and is sure to get clients coming back to visit and giving their friends and colleagues the all-important referral," he added.
