Product details:
The new and improved Salamander cooking unit is fitted with three pre-programmable grilling time settings allowing the unit to be turned down during less busy periods and turned up to run at full power during a busy service.
The unit, which was launched to help caterers save energy and reduce energy costs, also features automatic plate detection and technology giving chefs the ability to both cook and hold temperature.
Award-winning firm MKN was founded in 1946 and manufactures the multi-function unit FlexiChef and more recently launched a HoodIn steam condenser system which it says allows chefs to do away with extraction hoods above ovens in their kitchens.
