Plusfood introduces chicken fillet to frozen Hot ‘n’ Kickin’ foodservice range

Foodservice poultry supplier Plusfood has expanded its frozen Hot ‘n’ Kickin’ range to include a chicken fillet covered in the crispy coating with a kick of chilli that has become a signature of the product range. 

Product details:

The Hot ‘n’ Kickin’ chicken fillet is produced in Plusfood's European facility from breast meat which is flash fried, fully cooked and individually quick-frozen.

The product, which the company says is perfect for caterers looking to introduce a fresh and convenient menu option, is the latest addition to the brand's wide range which includes wings, dippers and steaks alongside recent additions goujons and 'Poppin' Chicken'.

USP:

The fillets, which are available as Halal, are free from artificial colours, flavours, preservatives and lactose and can be cooked from frozen in 4 minutes if deep frying at 180°C or oven baked for 20 minutes at 220°C.

Availability:

The product is available in a 2.7kg pack which contains approximately 30 fillets each weighing around 90g.
