Today's line-up includes the launch of the first ECats competition, a contest designed to celebrate the rise and success of the event catering sector and demonstrations from chef patissier Claire Clark, chefs Sat Bains, Paul Foster and Peter Gilmore of Quay in Sydney, patissier William Curley and Maze London general manager Sid Clark and head chef Tristin Farmer.
There will be discussions on how to reduce your restaurant's environmental impact and the street food revolution at the Business Bootcamp and seminars with drinks experts Charles Metcalfe and Isabelle Legeron over in the Drinks Quarter.
Experts from across the industry will be ready to give advice to visitors and producers and suppliers will be on hand to show their latest products and unveil new ideas and services.
This year, to better reflect the changing landscape of the dining out scene, the on-site restaurant has been replaced by nine street food vendors - Bhangra Burgers, The Rib Man, The Bowler, You Doughnut, Luardos, Big Apple Hot Dogs, Sorbitum Ices, Spit & Roast and Green Goat.
