Elior nets £10m West Ham contract catering deal including hotel services

Contract caterer Elior UK has secured its second contract with a Premier League football club, netting a two-year deal with West Ham Utd.

The contract, worth almost £10m, will see Elior provide all match day catering. It will also be responsible for all hotel services on non-match days, when West Ham converts its executive boxes into bedrooms with views over the pitch.

Dawn Gallimore, director of sales and stadia at Elior, said: “West Ham football club is a fantastic contract and is our second club in the Premier League. We feel especially proud to have won this new contract based on the service we offer and recommendations from existing clients.

“Our aim is to deliver pleasure and joy to consumers and our offer at West Ham is set to give fans a great customer experience.”

West Ham joins QPR as Elior’s second Premiership Club. The contract caterer also provides services at the AMEX Stadium in Brighton. It is believed Elior  beat rival caterer Compass Group to the West Ham deal.

Last month, BigHospitality reported that North West-based chef, hotelier and contract caterer Paul Rowley won a three-year contract to run a restaurant and provide catering at the new Blackpool FC  hotel when it opens its doors this month.
