Miele Professional to launch time-critical ProfiLine dishwasher range
Product details:
ProfiLine dishwashers from Miele allow restaurants and hotels to run dish-washing programmes at the rate of three per hour. The range of dishwashers which feature in this product line-up are; PG 8080 freestanding unit, PG 8080 U built-under unit, PG 8081 i integrated unit, PG 8082 SCi integrated version with XXL cabinet and the PG 8083 SCVi fully integrated version with XXL cabinet.
The new ProfiLine models offer a choice of nine dishwashing programmes at a push of a button: Short, Universal, Intensive, Glassware, Beer glasses, Hygiene, Eco, Plastics and Pre-wash with convenient push buttons, a text display with prompts and an uncluttered, easy-to-read fascia panel. There is the capability of also delaying the cycle start up to 24 hours in advance.
USP:
The shortest programme cycle lasts only 18 minutes (for the 32 AMP version) when connected to hot water. The dishwashers are energy-efficient too; some of the range has a category A+ energy efficiency label, consumption has been reduced on average by 10 per cent compared with the previous series. In the ‘Eco’ programme, selected ProfiLine dishwashers are 30 per cent more efficient in terms of water and electricity than their predecessors.
Selected ProfiLine models also feature a patented 3D cutlery tray which is adjustable in all three directions and adapts to various load arrangements. Lowering the central section allows space for larger items such as whisks and ladles. Sliding the side inserts towards the centre provides greater headroom for tall wine and champagne glasses in the upper basket.
Cost:
Specific costs are yet to be released by Miele, although we estimate the average for the range will come in at around £2,000.
Availability:
The ProfiLine dishwashers will be available to the market in August and will appear at www.mydishwasher.co.uk
Why should you buy it?
The main selling point of the Miele Profiline range is efficiency. As well as the reduced time of washing and energy efficiency, unloading the dishwasher is more convenient on selected ProfiLine models with the AutoOpen drying feature which opens the door to the ajar position at the end of a programme cycle automatically, speeding up the drying of both the load and the cabinet. This curtails the drying cycle and makes items of crockery, glassware and cutlery easier to handle on removal.
Miele have also developed the Perfect GlassCare function, familiar from domestic Miele models: temperature and water hardness is adjusted to the special needs of fine stemware. As a result, glassware comes out without the need for polishing with no smears, water stains or breakage.
Miele’s BrilliantLight ensures the user a clear view of the inner cabinet. Four bright LED spotlights illuminate the cabinet and simplify loading and unloading. Sound emissions of the Profiline range is also very low.
