Hotel Solutions London Ltd, which outsourced staff to hotels as well as operating two hotels itself is now looking for a new owner after being placed into administration
Hotel services outsourcing company Hotel Solutions London Ltd and its franchised cleaning business Totally Clean Solution Ltd have been placed into administration after accruing tax debts of £2m.

Administrators for FRP Advisory LLP took over the two businesses, which are based in Wembley, as going concerns on Tuesday.

Hotel Solutions London Ltd operated two hotels - the Hampton by Hilton in Corby and the Park Inn in Doncaster - under contract as well as providing a number of services to hotels, including catering and housekeeping. Together, the two companies employed 1,400 staff.

Administrators said it was ‘business as usual’ at the two hotels and with all other services and pledged to safeguard jobs and ensure staff were paid as usual as it sought to find new buyers. 

Continuity of service

Joint Administrator Jason Baker said the decision had been made to enter administration to safeguard the businesses for the future by finding new owners after it had accrued too much debt to continue. 

“The businesses had incurred losses and accumulated substantial arrears with HMRC and with other creditors,” he said. 

“The situation is regrettable, but we very much hope to find a purchaser for the businesses as going concerns to provide continuity of service to the companies’ clients and help secure a future for the employees. We plan to fulfil the payroll that is due this week to staff at the two companies.”
