The wine preservation and cooling system manufacturer says Vinoglass Elite is simple to use and easier to install but still provides operators with the ability to increase wine sales using the system.
The product use an inert gas system to preserve the wine automatically during the dispense process so wine stays fresh for at least 14 days without relying on staff to remember to re-seal a bottle immediately.
Vintellect director Clare Young, formerly a director of Cockburn & Campbell Limited, the subsidiary wine company of Young's brewery, said the benefits of wine preservation systems to operators were now well-known.
"Given the tendency for the on-trade to serve an increasing amount of out of condition wine, especially red, and coupled with the deregulation of 7.5cl measures of wine allowing establishments to offer samples or ‘wine flights’, now is the perfect time to invest in cabinet dispensing systems, and we have made it affordable for any bar or restaurant to do so," she said.
Temperature zones
The Surrey-based manufacturer, founded in 2004, says Vinoglass Elite delivers the required measure of wine, at the ideal temperature in perfect condition and provides a significant opportunity for pubs, bars, hotels and restaurants to offer more expensive wines by the glass but cut out wastage and control stock at the same time.
The benefits to operators of owning the system, Vintellect says, stretches to the visual impact of a wine preservation system and the understanding that customers who might be unwilling to spend a large amount on an expensive bottle of wine would spend a little more on one glass of the product.
Vinoglass Elite is sold to plug and play or self-install and comes in three models with room for four bottles at one temperature zone or six or eight bottles in two temperature zones.
