Apex Hotels is set to open its third London property, Apex Temple Court, on 1 March.

Situated just of Fleet Street, the 184-bedroom, four-star hotel is the eighth property within the Apex portfolio and is complete with restaurant, bar and gym.

Following an investment of over £60 million to convert the 12th Century property, Apex Temple Court will offer a mix of contemporary design and innovative technology including free Wi-Fi throughout.

The Chambers Restaurant

The Chambers restaurant will seat 78 covers, serving a modern European-style menu. Head chef Mirko Musini has had more than 20 years’ experience in hospitality and the menu will include: Dorset Crab Salad Starter; Catch of the Day; Roast Monk Fish; Pork Belly; Wild black bream shellfish linguini; and Lancashire hot pot.

The interior of the restaurant will feature high, oak-framed windows, specially-designed candle lanterns and a metallic mosaic wall.

The Chambers Bar

The Chambers Bar has space for an additional 100 guests. The bar has been sculpted out of

heavily grained black and gold marble and a feature fireplace aims to give the bar a library feel.

Apex Hotels has four properties in Edinburgh and one in Dundee. The existing hotels in London include Apex London Wall, which opened in 2009, and Apex City of London (2005).

With regards to the Group’s expansion, a spokesperson told BigHospitality: “The hotel group does not currently have any immediate plans to expand as they are focused on the opening of their third London property.”

Apex Hotels received national acclaim when it was named Small Hotel Group of the year at the AA Hospitality Awards 2010 - 2011.
