The 16-bedroom Grade II Listed country house hotel is the seventeenth property in the former Von Essen estate to be sold by Christie & Co since the group went into administration in April of this year.
The hotel's new owner remains anonymous, but its purchase was made with funding from Christie & Co's sister company Christie Finance.

We are delighted to have made this the latest sale from the Von Essen Hotels portfolio and pleased that our sister company Christie Finance was able to source funding for the buyer."
The sale of Callow Hall, which has been run by administrators at Ernst & Young for the past eight months, leaves 10 former Von Essen hotels still looking for owners. Properties still up for sale include Cliveden, Sharrow Bay and The Royal Crescent Hotel.
Earlier this month a company run by property consultant Nicholas Cowell bought former Von Essen property Hotel Verta out of administration. The hotel remained owned by Von Essen owner Andrew Davies after the company went into administration in April only to fall into the hands of administrators three months later.
Companies who have acquired Von Essen hotels so far include Brownsword Hotels, Halycon Hotels & Resorts and The Eden Collection.
