Catering equipment manufacturer Sammic has launched a new three-model range of highly durable, heavy-duty vegetable preparation machines available to hotels, restaurants, fast food outlets, pubs and clubs.

Sammic’s stainless steel and cast aluminium machines aim to improve the quality of the cuts and dicing while increasing production and keeping the equipment ergonomic, easy to use and hygienic.

Ian Houldsworth, managing director of Sammic UK, said: “Our research and development department is constantly working on new ideas and updates of current lines to make them the best on the market.

Any kitchen environment

“These latest changes to our vegetable preparation machines make them highly attractive, easy to use and they will undoubtedly complement any busy kitchen environment.”

Features include a lateral shoot, for narrow counter spaces; a one-arm motion process with a handle, designed for low impact on elbows and wrists; and an intuitive, water-tight, LED-lit front control panel.

The range includes high output capabilities – up-to 700 covers per day and a wide range of discs and grids allowing over 70 different cuts. All Sammic machines comply with the highest safety standards and are all NSF certified.

Sammic Limited have been providing catering equipment solutions to industrial, commercial, leisure and hospitality markets as well as a number of public sector markets, for more than 35 years.
