Cenabo online meal pre-ordering software gives restaurants “greater foresight”

Cenabo, an online meal pre-ordering software that helps restaurants, caterers and hotels collect food and drink requirements from guests in real time, has been recently launched and is available to restaurants in the build-up to the busy Christmas period.

Restaurants can sign up for an account with Cenabo and access the MunuBuilder tool, to create digital versions of their menus. Customers can then use Cenabo to collect meal pre-orders for dining events.

“Collecting meal pre orders in the run-up to an event is not only a laborious task for the organiser, it is also a process venues have little control over,” said Peter Higgins, Cenabo’s managing director. “Implementing Cenabo enables them to plan catering requirements with greater foresight, whilst empowering their customers to manage their event more efficiently.”

“Cenabo is designed to help all types and sizes of eating establishments. Where they would normally hope to receive the information they need from their customers in a timely manner, our system guarantees up-to-date guest and pre order details in a controlled and usable format.”

Preferences, dietry needs and allergies

When guests use the service they are able to view various details regarding their event, as well as an interactive menu. Along with pre-orders, any relevant preferences, diets and allergies can be submitted online. Both venues and organisers can then view these details in real-time simply by logging into their respective Cenabo accounts.

In addition, the use of the service enables venues to capture valuable customer data, which can be used for future promotional activities.

With approximately 10,000 pre-orders facilitated to date, Cenabo is already working with a number of venues that are preparing for what will be the busiest time of the year.

"With the Christmas party season just around the corner, we are looking forward to the opportunity to help many of the venues and event organisers normally burdened by meal pre orders,” added Higgins.

The cost for Cenabo comes in four tiered payment plans, starting from £29 per month. All plans include a set number of pre-orders for each month and are available on a rolling contract so customers can upgrade or downgrade payments at any time.
