iPhone app
Hotel Missoni in Edinburgh has devised an iPhone app for its guests to be able to access information about the hotel and its surroundings before, during and after their stay. The free app allows guests to book tables at its restaurant Cucina, order room service or a taxi and arrange for luggage to be picked up from their room. Information about local hot spots and places to visit in the city are included which are linked in with Google maps so guests can find their way around easily. General manager Carina Svensen said: “As a regular business traveller myself, I never have my iPhone far from reach, as I need to be able to make decisions at the click of a button and I’m always trying to stay one step ahead. We hope our app makes our guests feel a little more relaxed during their stay."
