Legendary Jazz exhibition
The Midland Hotel in Manchester is hosting a photographic exhibition from now until the end of July of some of the world’s leading jazz artists, as captured by Sefton Samuels. Artwork on display around the hotel includes images of Louis Armstrong and Ray Brown amongst others, many of whom have stayed at the Midland Hotel during Manchester performances in the 50s and 60s. The exhibition is part of the hotel’s ongoing support for music, art and culture in the city, and will coincide with the Manchester Jazz Festival on 22-30 July.
