Taking place at Earls Court 2 on 18 and 19 May, the annual event brings together digital-based technologies and applications for use on a range of platforms and in multiple sectors, including pubs, bars, restaurants and retail venues.
Technologies being showcased range from virtual shopping assistants and ‘augmented reality’ screens to a selection of enterprise technologies.
Screenmedia aims to show how businesses can the use one or more of these channels – including screen, interactive, kiosk, mobile and social media – in order to reach a wider public.
Communicate and engage
According to the show organisers, visitors will “learn how this technology can make the business of communicating more efficient and understand how to effectively engage viewers in order to generate an experiential or commercial return”.
The expo will include a conference and an education programme. The Screen Forum’s Love Content initiative will also provide attendees with the chance to engage with screens using hand and body gestures, mobile phones and other user-generated content.
“What is essential is that we as an industry continue to collaborate, network, inspire and create in order to establish digital media as a more attractive, viable opportunity for brands, agencies, marketers and end users to engage with. The expo is an ideal platform to make this happen,” said Mark Pigou, Director of Screen Events.
