The new Hilton Hotels & Resorts hotel and Hampton by Hilton hotel are both due to open in summer 2012 and will be located within St. George’s Park football centre.
The new hotels, which are the first dual-brand development for Hilton in the UK, will boost the group’s presence within sporting grounds. Of the 90 hotels operated by Hilton Worldwide in the UK, the group currently has a DoubleTree by Hilton Milton Keynes housed in the MK Dons stadium. A Hilton Wembley adjacent to Wembley Stadium is also due to open next year.

Paul Brown, the group’s president of global brands and commercial services, said the St. George’s Park hotels mark “a major milestone in establishing our portfolio of brands in what is a key market, while at the same time further enhancing our close association with sports".
Although the hotels will be located alongside each other within the same building, they will retain their own “distinct personalities”.
Hampton by Hilton at St. George’s Park will be an 86-bedroom site, and will include features of the company’s economy brand, such as complimentary hot breakfast and internet access.
The 142-bedroom Hilton at St. George's Park hotel will include 91 standard rooms, 41 executive rooms and 14 suites. It will have several restaurant and bar options, and will include an exhibition of football memorabilia. It will also include conferencing, banqueting, spa and health club facilities, and is being positioned as a venue to support the FA’s training and education requirements.
Hilton Worldwide said it plans to open another 16 hotels in the UK by the end of 2013, including five Hilton and seven Hampton by Hilton hotels.
Currently, the group operated 68 Hilton and eight Hampton by Hilton hotels.
