Lonely Planet at Tampopo and Infiniti cars at Vineyard at Stockcross

Restaurants, pubs and hotels, including Tampopo and The Vineyard at Stockcross, tell us what promotions they’re running to attract customers.

Asian Lonely Planet

Pan-Asian restaurant chain Tampopo has teamed up with travel guide the Lonely Planet to give guests a library of books to read while they eat. The guides, which cover solely Asian destinations such as Japan, Korea, Thailand and Vietnam, will also be available for diners to buy. Furthermore the guides will be available with a 50 per cent discount until 31 March. Tampopo co-founder David Fox thought diners may like to research the geographical area from which their meal derives.

To Infiniti and beyond

For one day only The Vineyard at Stockcross is offering diners living within a 20-mile radius of the restaurant the chance to be driven to the venue in style – thanks to a luxury Infiniti car. Diners will be able to enjoy head chef Daniel Galmiche’s modern European menu before being escorted home again at the end of the evening. The offer will only be available for those booking a table for Saturday 5 March.

Free upgrade

Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire is offering those booking a midweek stay with dinner at Andrew Fairlie’s two-Michelin starred restaurant a complimentary glass of Champagne and a free room upgrade. The offer is available to guests staying at the hotel between Monday and Thursday until 29 April.

Summer in the city

Radisson Edwardian is encouraging travellers to spend the summer in London by offering up to 20 per cent off all room rates between 31 July and 6 September, plus a further 25 per cent off dining. The offer is available at its 10 London hotels and city centre Manchester hotel, with prices starting at £76 per room per night.
