Art at The Butchers Arms and collagen menu at Gilgamesh
At the ‘art’ of the community
The Butchers Arms in Hepworth has invited local artists to fill its dining room, bar and garden with paintings, sculptures and ceramics. Already a supporter of local food producers, chef/proprietor Tim Bilton is giving local artists the opportunity to sell their work to the Pennine village pub’s guests, as a way to support the local art community and give guests a regularly changing décor.
Eat Yourself Beautiful
The Japanese food craze to consume collagen as a way to improve skin and overall health has come to Gilgamesh in Camden, in the form of head chef Ian Pengelley’s Eat Yourself Beautiful menu. Dishes on the menu include Collagen Inside Out Dumpling; Collagen Bento Box of Chargrilled Salmon, Black Sushi Rice, Mixed Leaves, Tomato & Onion Dressing and Collagen Goji Berry Sorbet, Sugarless Milk Ice.
Eat all you can extension
Spanish tapas chain La Tasca is continuing its ‘all you can eat for £10’ offer every Wednesday throughout February, following the success of the deal in early January. A number of dishes such as croquettes, paellas and Spanish meatballs are available. La Tasca will also be letting kids eat free throughout half term (19-25 February).
Sunday Lunch
Park Plaza Westminster Bridge is now offering Sunday roast lunches at its normally French restaurant Brasserie Joel, run by chef Joel Antunes. Lunches will be available from £19.95 for two courses, and have been designed to attract families and groups of friends visiting the attractions at the nearby South Bank. Main courses feature large sharing dishes such as Roast Suckling Pork Shoulder with Grilled Apple and Swiss Chard, and Whole Roast Chicken with Lemon, Rosemary, Roast Baby Potatoes and Garlic Confit.
