The Twickenham business is being marketed as a leasehold interest, with a passing rent of £34,000 per annum.
Marketing agents Christie and Co said that "all realistic offers" are being sought.
Situated between Twickenham's main railway station and the Twickenham stadium, the 150-cover restaurant is based on a 1950s French bistro, offering 'quality regional French cuisine', the agent said.
Barnes
The move comes little more than a year after chef and restaurateur McClements relaunched the Barnes Ma Cuisine site as Le Provence, after attempting to sell it as part of a ‘strategic review’ of his business.
McClements had claimed that the restaurant was the ‘weakest’ in his group, before putting the Barnes site on the market with a view to relocating the restaurant to central London.
But the Michelin-starred chef had a change of heart and relaunched the Barnes restaurant as Le Provence instead.
McClements previously gained a Michelin star for the Twickenham site, as his epoymous restaurant in 2004. He relaunched it as Ma Cuisine, the first of the brand, four years ago.
He currently operates five further units in south west London, two further Ma Cuisine sites in Kew and Barnes, the Grill Room British Steakhouse, also in Twickenham, as well as his eponymous fine dining restaurant and the Tagine Moroccan restaurant in Kew.
Barry Fitzgerald of Christie and Co's restaurants team said: "This represents a superb opportunity for the right operator to acquire an excellent business, which trades in a great location."
