The reopening of the Savoy Grill is to be delayed until November, seven weeks after the hotel has been opened.
While the Savoy is due to open again on 10 October after a three year refurbishment, which is believed to have cost in excess of £200m, the Gordon Ramsay operated Savoy Grill will not take bookings until 29 November.
BigHospitality understands that the delay has been caused by a minor structural problem with the restaurant.
A spokeswoman said: "We are delighted to announce that The Savoy Grill will be opening on Monday 29 November. The short delay is due to some small structural issues with the building which have now been rectified."
The Savoy Grill, which will have 100 seats in the main room and a 40-seat private dining room, is to be overseen by chef-patron Stuart Gillies.
