A 122-bedroom hotel in the heart of London’s hospitality district in Bayswater is up for sale.
The Leinster Inn Hotel occupies six adjoining, Grade II-Listed town houses in the middle of a 19th Century terrace, and, with 31,500 sq ft of floor space, is being marketed by agents Christie + Co as having “extensive development potential.”
The hotel, which recently ceased trading, was operated by Astor for many years as a hostel aimed at the backpacker market. Converted for hotel use a number of years ago, accommodation is arranged over lower ground, ground and four upper floors.
David Creamore, Director at Christie + Co, said: “The fact that London continues to outperform many other European capital cities, makes it an attractive investment location for UK and overseas buyers. This is a rare opportunity to acquire substantial freehold properties in central London with extensive development potential.”
