Ignite Group, owner of pan-Asian restaurant Cocoon, has appointed Jason Myers as managing director of Bumpkin

Myers joins the company from Gondola Holdings, where he was operations director for Zizzi.

Matt Hermer, Ignite’s managing director, said: “I am delighted to welcome Jason to the board and to this newly appointed position.

“Jason brings an enormous wealth of knowledge and experience in the F&B arena and we look forward to helping him expand the Bumpkin sensibility of locally sources, great British food, to neighbouring London boroughs.”

Bumpkin currently has two sites in the capital’s Notting Hill and South Kensington areas.

Rocco Forte Collection appoints new managing director

The Rocco Forte Collection has appointed Karim Naffah as its new managing director.

Naffah has acted as a consultant to the company since July 2009 and assisted in its recent re-financing.

Prior to joining the group, Naffah worked for 18 years in a range of strategy and finance roles within the leisure and hospitality industry, including Six Continents and, after the demerger of the business, pub operator Mitchells and Butlers.

Sir Rocco Forte said: “Karim’s role will be primarily focused on the continuation of the company’s successful drive to advance performance and to work with me on the future strategic development of the business.”
