Sensory afternoon tea at Firmdale Hotels, and collagen drinks at YO! Sushi

Restaurants, hotels and pubs, including Firmdale Hotels and Yo! Sushi tell us about the extra activities they're planning to make their businesses more appealing

Sensory afternoon tea

Firmdale Hotels are offering guests a special Ruinart and Miller Harris Sensory Afternoon Tea from June. Available at the Soho Hotel, Haymarket Hotel, Charlotte St Hotel and Covent Garden Hotel, the afternoon tea will feature a glass of Ruinart Blancs de Blancs Champagne, plus a pot of Miller Harris tea, both of which have been chosen to complement each other in taste and fragrance.

YO! Sushi collagen drink

YO! Sushi has taken influence from a Japanese trend for collagen-enhanced products and introduced a new collagen drink at its restaurants. Containing added vitamin B and C plus a dose of fish collagen, the citrusy 50ml drink has been imported especially from Japan and is only available while stocks last.

Rooftop picnics

The National Theatre’s rooftop terrace The Deck will be transformed into a garden complete with grass and trees during August, where guests can order a picnic before heading down to watch a play. Picnic boxes include Potted Ham and Homemade Piccalilli; a Scotch Egg; Smoked Salmon and Fennel Salad with Dill and Chardonnay Dressing; a Salad of Asparagus, Broad Bean, Summer Squash and Goat’s Cheese; Westcombe Cheddar with Pecan and Raisin Bread and Homemade Chutney; and a Summer Berry Trifle for £55 per head.
