Global hotel group Hilton has opened three new hotels in the UK under its Hampton brand, more than doubling the size of its UK estate.
The hotels, in Birmingham, Braintree and Shrewsbury, are owned by Osborn Securities and will be managed by Hilton Worldwide. They bring the number of Hampton by Hilton's in the UK up to five.
John Rogers, vice president operations, Hilton Worldwide, said: "It is less than a year since we opened our first Hampton in the UK, Hampton by Hilton Corby, and these latest openings mark our continued expansion in the economy sector."
The 90-bedroom hotel at Birmingham's Star City opened on 16 March, followed by the 75-bedroom Shrewsbury site on the 18 and the 76-bedroom Braintree hotel on the 23 March.
Hampton is Hilton's value brand with room rates starting at £45 per night. Features in hotels include free breakfasts, free high-speed internet access in rooms and a 24-hour snack area.
Hilton said it was planning to continue with the expansion of the brand throughout the UK.
