Pub company Admiral Taverns has confirmed it is selling off 150 of its pubs in England and Wales following a review of its estate.
The sites, which represent about a tenth of the 2,000 strong estate, are available in small groups or individually.
Jonathan Paveley, chairman of Admiral Taverns, said: “The decision to sell these pubs follows a review of the Admiral Taverns estate and, while they no longer fit the requirements of our business, they offer good opportunities to a variety of potential buyers with the skills to achieve their potential.”
The pubs, almost all freehold, are being sold through Christie & Co for between £75,000 and £600,000.
Neil Morgan, Christie & Co’s head of pubs, said the pubs were expecting to 'generate significant interest from regional and local operators, individual buyers and developers.'
