Nathan Outlaw's eponymous restaurant at the Marina Hotel in Fowey will close for good tomorrow and will reopen at St Enodoc Hotel in nearby Rock next year

Nathan Outlaw will close his eponymous restaurant at the Marina Villa Hotel in Fowey, Cornwall this weekend with plans to re-open it at St Enodoc Hotel in Rock next year.

Outlaw, who opened the restaurant in 2007, will hold his last service at the Marina Villa Hotel tomorrow night before moving all his operations to St Enodoc where he currently runs the Nathan Outlaw Seafood Bar & Grill.

Amy Symons, management assistant for Marina Villa Hotel, said Outlaw had been splitting his time between the two restaurants since launching the bar & grill earlier this year and was now keen to operate under one roof.

She said: "He wants to be in one place so will be taking his restaurant over to Rock, and will move his tasting menu there too.

"We'll re-open the restaurant here at the Marina Villa Hotel next year, after some refurbishment, under another name, hopefully ready for Valentine's Day."

Outlaw, whose restaurant at the Marina Villa Hotel, was tipped as a rising two star in last year's Michelin guide, will open Restaurant Nathan Outlaw fine dining restaurant at St Enodoc in the New Year. It will run alongside the bar & grill, which will close on 8 December for the winter and re-open on 12 February 2010.

The 17-bedroom Marina Villa Hotel, which went on the market earlier this year because of the current owner's plans to retire, will operate on a bed and breakfast basis basis over the winter while parts of the hotel, including the restaurant, are refurbished.
