A bite of London

Swissôtel The Howard is allowing guest to sink their teeth into London’s landmarks with the launch of its TLSee, tea-london-sightseeing package. Executive chef Brian Spark has created a range of biscuits and cakes inspired by sights from around the city, including Big Ben, Tower Bridge and the crown jewels, which will be served alongside sandwiches and scones. The promotional offer is £28 and includes a glass of Alan Thienot Champagne.

Cooking with Corrigan

Richard Corrigan has introduced a series of Saturday morning cookery classes and wine and food matching workshops at his flagship restaurant Corrigan's Mayfair. Kicking off at 10am, the tutorials are hosted by Corrigan himself and head chef Chris McGowan, and are priced at £250 per person or £90 for guests wanting to join for lunch only.

Gluten-free afternoon tea

Due to demand from customers with dietary needs, the luxury Landmark London Hotel in Marylebone is offering a specialty menu in their glass-roofed atrium for customers that are gluten intolerant. Gluten-free scones and delicacies such as Chocolate macaroons, Strawberry Meringues and Raspberry Creme Brulee will be served alongside a selection of sandwiches made using gluten-free bread. The hotel is also introducing a chocolate afternoon tea in September.

Hosting a roast

Paradise By Way of Kensal Green has introduced Host Your Own Roast, a bespoke meal for up to 18 people. Guests can choose from a selection of meats all accompanied by roast potatoes, Yorkshire puds and vegetables. The three-course private meal is hosted by Tim Payne, who expertly carves the meat, at a cost of £29.50 a head.
