Future Inns to open third UK hotel

Canadian hotel group Future Inns will open a hotel in Bristol next month as part of plans to expand the brand in the South West.

The £20m 149-bedroom hotel, situated next to the Cabot Circus shopping centre, will be the third property to be opened under the brand in the UK.

Future Inns, founded in Canada in 1989, opened its flagship hotel in Cardiff in 2005 following with its second property in Plymouth in 2006.

The brand`s ethos is to provide `comfort, convenience and value`. Room rates start at £69.

Future Inns managing director Del Brett said: “This company has a long-term commitment for growth in the South West and Wales. Despite the challenging environment of the current economy, there is very much an ongoing demand for good value, high standard hotel accommodation, particularly as many more people will be looking for leisure activities closer to home this year”.

The Cabot Circus hotel will open its doors early next month and includes six meeting rooms, a steak and chophouse restaurant, bar and jazz club.
