Hilton Hotels has appointed two new area general managers for Scotland, who will cover 10 regional hotels between them.
Covering Central Scotland, Calum Ross (pictured, right) will be based at Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor, which he will oversee along with Hilton Edinburgh Grosvenor, Edinburgh Airport, Strathclyde and Dunblane Hydro, which is to become a Doubletree by Hilton.
With 21 years experience in the hotel sector, including a position as Jarvis Hotels regional director for Scotland, Ross will look after a total workforce of 660 hotel employees.
Stewart Lorimer has been appointed area general manager for North Scotland, and while based at Hilton Aberdeen Treetops, he will oversee 800 employees across a further five sites, Coylumbridge, Doubletree by Hilton Aberdeen, Craigendarroch, Dundee and Dunkeld.
He joins Hilton from his position as Marriott International’s general manager for north England, with a view to assist Hilton in its portfolio expansion.
