Jacob Kenedy & Victor Hugo to open London restaurant

Former Moro and Konstam Head Chef Jacob Kenedy and partner Victor Hugo unveil plans to open new Italian restaurant in Soho

Former Moro Head Chef Jacob Kenedy has announced plans to open a restaurant in London with restaurateur Victor Hugo.

Bocca di Lupo will open in Soho in October serving regional Italian food with a contemporary twist.

Kenedy, who more recently worked at Boulevard in San Francisco before setting up Konstam in London with Oliver Rowe, will run the kitchen aided by Senior Sous-Chef David Cook.

Hugo, who also worked at Boulevard as Floor Manager and Konstam as General Manager, will run front of house as well as overseeing the restaurant`s regionally-focused Italian wine list.

The duo bought the site in Archer Street through Davis Coffer Lyons earlier this year and appointed USE Architects to design the 45-cover restaurant, a 22-cover private dining room and 20-seater bar made from Carrara marble.

Bocca di Lupo, meaning the mouth of the wolf, will serve dishes such as Tuna Tartare with Orange Zest, Capers and Pine Nuts, Spaghettini with Lobster, Mussels and Ginger and Rustic Pork and Foie Gras Sausage with Grano Saraceno and Morels.
