Fourth site for Zerodegrees

Restaurant microbrewery chain signals expansion with opening of fourth site in Cardiff

Zerodegrees owners Dipam Patel and Nick Desai are pushing forward with expansion plans for the business with the opening of their fourth restaurant microbrewery in Cardiff.

The latest site, situated opposite the Millennium Stadium, signals the next phase in the group`s national expansion strategy with Southampton "likely" to be the next city to receive one.

“We had wanted to open our second branch in Cardiff over six years ago but couldn’t find the right premises, so we’re delighted to be finally launching in Wales. Cardiff is a vibrant and developing city and we think the perfect setting for Zerodegrees,” said Patel.

“We’re planning steady expansion over the next few years, with regional satellite bars and restaurants being supplied with fresh beer from each microbrewery hub. We are always looking for new sites and Southampton is likely to be the next location however we won’t be ruling out other areas in Wales.”

The first Zerodegrees opened in Blackheath, south east London in 1999 with others following in Bristol and Reading.

Each restaurant is built around a visible microbrewery and serves an international menu which includes  kilo pots of mussels, gourmet pizzas and speciality sausages.
