A new seafood restaurant will open at Stanwell House Hotel in Lymington, Hampshire, after it was taken over by the former General Manager of Rhinefield House Hotel in nearby Brockenhurst.
Robert Milton, who was General Manager at Rhinefield for three and a half years, bought Stanwell House in June and took Rhinefield's sous chef Stuart White with him.
Milton and his partner Victoria Crowe are now converting the bar at the front of the hotel into a restaurant called Seafood at Stanwells, which will run alongside the existing bistro.
Milton said of the restaurant: "We've got a prime location on the high street, there are no fish restaurants in Lymington, and you can literally walk down to the quay and pick up your seafood on a Saturday morning."
