Speciality coffee brand % Arabica has chosen the former turbine halls of Battersea Power Station for the location of its fourth London location.

The brand, which is known for its minimalist design and state-of-the-art equipment and which is inspired by the Japanese concept of kenbun (‘to see and to hear’), will open its new site on 14 December in Turbine Hall A.

The café’s standout features include modular wall panelling and a central counter built around a preserved yellow brickwork column, an original feature of the power station.

Signature drinks will include the Kyoto Latte made with condensed milk; and a Spanish Latte made with espresso, steamed milk, and condensed milk, alongside classics such as flat whites, matcha lattes, and single origin pour-overs.

The store will also serve a selection of freshly baked pastries and desserts, including a cashew almond croissant; white chocolate miso cookie, and vanilla canelé.

It also operates cafes in Canada, the US, and Mexico.

Its London sites are located in Covent Garden, Spitalfields, and Broadway Market.
