African-inspired restaurant group Afrikana has opened its latest site, in London’s The O2.

The new restaurant, sited within the venue’s Entertainment District, is the brand’s second location in London, sitting alongside its site in Dalston, and 15th in the UK.

The 1,992sq ft restaurant serves African inspired dishes such as grilled chicken, curries, and burgers.

“We are so excited to bring the authentic flavours and atmosphere of Afrikana to The O2,” says franchisees Ish Ikram and Ahdil Akhtar. “We are certain Afrikana will be a great addition to The O2 - we know people will love it just as much as we do.”

Afrikana stared life in 2018 in the village of Aldridge in the Midlands and now operates in cities including Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, Leicester and Glasgow.
